On the evening of Thursday, November 14, 2024, the Democrats of Rossmoor will hold an evening TGWD. Doors to the Fireside Room will open at 6:00pm. Bring a snack to share. At 7:00pm, San Francisco Chronicle Senior Political Writer Joe Garofoli will speak and answer questions. Please consider carpooling to this event as parking at Gateway is limited.
Joe Garofoli ‘s past visits to the Democrats of Rossmoor have been popular with club members. His presentation for the TGWD will be a recap of the November election and analysis of the results as they are known at this time. Garofoli covers local, state and national politics as well as hosting the podcast It’s All Political. He is a regular guest on local TV and radio talk show programs.
After graduating from Northwestern University, Garofoli began his career in journalism at the Milwaukee Journal. He relocated to the Bay area in 1992 and started working for the San Francisco Chronicle in 2000. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and remains a loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
