On Thursday, October 24, 2024, the Democrats of Rossmoor will hold their monthly meeting. Doors to the Event Center will open at 6:00pm for a town square social with snacks provided by the club.This will be the last chance to meet with our local candidates before Election Day. At 7:00pm, club President Susan Hildreth will chair the club’s annual meeting. Following these proceedings, the speaker for the evening will be Dave Metz, president of FM3 Research Partner.
At the business meeting, members will be asked to vote on several changes to the by-laws. Details about these changes will be made available to the membership before the meeting. We must have at least 125 current members present to approve changes to the by-laws. Please plan to attend.
Dave Metz is a return speaker for the Democrats of Rossmoor. His company, FM3 Research Partner, is a California-based company that has been conducting public policy-oriented opinion research since 1981.
Candidates, government agencies, businesses and nonprofits have all benefited from the research and strategic guidance Metz provides. He has worked on campaigns for local, state and national elections, including some of the most expensive and contentious ballot measure campaigns. Metz received his Bachelor’s degree in Government from Harvard University and his Master’s in Public Policy from the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California-Berkeley.
