  • High Quality Programs – Curricular Growth. Ensure that every student has access to high-quality educational opportunities and attains college and career readiness.  Continually assess curriculum and students’ needs as the world changes around them.
  • Close Opportunity Gaps. Look at all decisions through an equity lens and identify and implement policies and practices that eliminate opportunity gaps – creating pathways for all to succeed.
  • School Climate and Culture. Provide safe, engaging, and inclusive classrooms and school sites that support the social-emotional growth of every student – making sure that AUHSD graduates healthy and happy young adults who are ready for post high school pathways.

Laura Bratt – Area 3 (Incumbent)

  • Keeping students at the center. We must center students and their voice in the questions asked, the insight and perspectives gathered, and ultimately, the policy and decisions made.
  • Supporting SRVUSD’s Strategic Directions. I will focus on continued implementation and accountability around SRVUSD’s Strategic Directions, a comprehensive plan rooted in Deep Learning & Innovation, Social Emotional Well-being, and Equity.
  • Ensuring strong governance. I am proud to lead a strong governance team as we work together to build better policy, responsibly stewarding our limited resources, and ensuring strong District leadership as we transition to a new Superintendent.
